SAP MDG Rule-Based Workflow can merge parallel approval branches by using BAdI `USMD_SSW_PARA_RESULT_HANDLER`. The key logic sits in method `HANDLE_PARALLEL_RESULT`, which receives the Change Request number, current step, parallel step action table, and Service Name so you can evaluate the branch results, merge them, and return the next workflow step, action, and messages.
