Use this guide to model SAP MDG Data Quality Management rules for Business Partner and Product master data. It covers rule creation, usage preparation, BRFplus artifact generation, scope and condition implementation, testing/approval, enablement, and evaluation execution on SAP S/4HANA 1909 or higher.
Process flow
- Launch Fiori Launchpad.
- Open the relevant DQM app: Data Quality Rule Business Partner or Data Quality Rule Product.
- Create the rule and maintain the header information.
- Fill the General Information section, including Rule Owner and Implementation Expert where applicable.
- Add the required usage(s).
- Choose Prepare for each usage so the framework generates BRFplus design-time artifacts.
- Open the generated Scope expression and model the in-scope logic.
- Open the generated Condition expression and implement the validation logic; a record is Not Ok if it fails the condition.
