Use the Fiori app Manage Hierarchy for Cost Center Group - Hierarchy Processing to edit the hierarchy, insert the required Cost Center Group or Cost Center under the target node, and submit the change request of type Process Cost Center Group Hierarchy. In this scenario, the request is auto approved and ends in status Final check approved, after which the hierarchy is visible in MDG and in the S/4HANA Manage Cost Center Groups app.

Process flow

- Select the cost center group hierarchy and choose EDIT.
- Select the target node.
- Use Insert to add a Cost Center Group, then Transfer and Save.
- Use Insert to add a Cost Center, then Transfer and Save.
- Create the change request of type Process Cost Center Group Hierarchy and submit it. Auto approval results in Final check approved status.
