How do I configure and test a standard SAP MDG material creation workflow with requestor submission and final MDG approval?

Use Manage Material Master Governance to create the material change request, maintain the required master-data fields, save and check, then submit to the approver in My Change Requests Monitoring for final approval and activation.
In SAP MDG material governance, the requestor starts the change request in Manage Material Master Governance, enters the core material data, and submits it for approval. The approver then picks it up from My Change Requests Monitoring, checks the data, and approves the CR so the material becomes active in MDG and S/4HANA.
Process flow
- Login to the SAP Fiori launchpad as the requestor.
- Open Manage Material Master Governance.
- Create a new material change request.
- Enter the change request description and maintain the required master-data fields.
- Confirm derived values such as Industry key and material number.
- Enter plant and valuation data where applicable.
- Click Save and Check.
- Submit the change request to workflow approval.
