How do I configure SOA Manager for MDG-F local replication without PI in MDG Hub and MDG Client systems?
Configure the web-service runtime, SOAMANAGER profile MDG, provider systems, logon data, and local integration scenarios in both MDG Hub and MDG Client. Also activate the required business functions, transport requests, point-to-point support, SLD connectivity, and ECH so MDG-F enterprise-service replication works without PI.

For MDG-F local replication without PI, you need both technical and SOAMANAGER setup in the MDG Hub and MDG Client systems. Start by configuring the web-service runtime, assigning `SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN_TEC`, and activating the required business functions, then maintain the transport request and point-to-point support settings in the MDG client.
Process flow
- Configure web-service runtime per SAP Note 1043195.
- Assign `SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN_TEC` and create the service user in `SU01`.
- Activate `FND_SOA_REUSE_1` and the replication-specific business function in `SFW5`.
- Maintain inbound transport requests in the MDG client using the customizing activity or `SM34` / `VC_TRN_REG_RQST`.
- Enable point-to-point communication support and verify SLD connectivity with `SLDCHECK`.
- Activate Error and Conflict Handler in the MDG customizing path.
- In `SOAMANAGER`, create profile `MDG` with `User ID/Password` and `No IBC Determination`.
- Copy the Business Application ID from SAP Client Settings > Service Identifier and store it for pairing systems later on.','Create the Provider System for the counterpart system and maintain WSIL/WSDL logon data.','Create local integration.
SFW5Cross-Application Components > General Application Functions > Business Functions
Activate `FND_SOA_REUSE_1` and, in the MDG client, `FIN_MDM_SOA_ORG` or `FIN_MDM_SOA_CU` as required.
SM34View cluster `VC_TRN_REG_RQST`
Maintain transport request assignments when the MDG customizing activity is not available.
SOAMANAGERTechnical Administration > Profiles
Create profile `MDG` with `User ID/Password` authentication and `No IBC Determination`.
SOAMANAGERTechnical Administration > SAP Client Settings > Service Identifier
Retrieve the Business Application ID for later use in provider system pairing.
SOAMANAGERTechnical Administration > Provider Systems
Create the provider system for the counterpart system, maintain WSIL/WSDL data, and assign the Business Application ID.
SOAMANAGERService Administration > Logon Data Management
Create and assign logon data for backend service users.
