To extend an SAP MDG FI Contract Account field, first decide whether the new field belongs to `FKKVK` or `FKKVKP`. Then extend the corresponding CI include in `SE11`, add the matching `ZZ...` attribute in data model `BP` via `MDGIMG`, activate the model, generate the data model-specific structures, and maintain the field mappings so the value flows between the MDG model and the CI include.
Process flow
- Decide whether the field belongs to FKKVK or FKKVKP.
- If extending CI_FKKVK, review SAP Note 2859822 first.
- Run SE11 and open FKKVK or FKKVKP.
- Double-click the CI include and add the new field.
- Save and activate the DDIC change.
- Run MDGIMG and open Edit Data Model under BP.
- Select entity type FKKVK or FKKVKP, then open Attributes.
- Create the new ZZ attribute using the data element name rule, for example ZZDOKAR style naming if applicable to your field's data element name, and save it.','Activate the data model.','Generate the data model-specific structures for the FΚ
